Marking the 20th anniversary of the Pinakothek der Moderne museum in Munich, the curators of the Sammlung Moderne Kunst are rehanging their collection in a new display titled MIX & MATCH. Characterized by a spirit of curiosity and experimentation, the new exhibit invites visitors to rediscover the collection in themed galleries and unconventional juxtapositions that transcend epochs, styles, and media. True to the idea of mixing and matching, the works were selected as snapshots of specific moments in recent history with the potential to shed light on current urgent debates, offering visionary and unexpected perspectives on the past and the imminent future.
The Carl Kruse Blog cordially invites you to join us for an exclusive guided tour in German of “MIX & MATCH” at the Pinakothek der Moderne on Saturday, 22 June 2024.
We will meet at the Foyer of the Pinakothek der Moderne, Barer Str. 40, 80799 Munich, at 11.45, 15 minutes ahead of the tour to allow time for the distribution of entrance tickets. After the guided tour we invite you to join us for a lunch or coffee (pay-as-you-consume basis).
Please register by completing the online registration form. We encourage you to sign-up early, as we allocate places on a first-come, first-served basis.
The participation fee is €10, which we ask you to either pay by Paypal or provide us a SEPA direct debit.
